Xcel Delivery Services

We opened Xcel Delivery Services back in 2004, making a few daily deliveries from our suburban Tucson home. Before long, news of the company’s exceptional service brought local referrals followed by national accounts. We started warehousing in 2007 with a small building which we quickly outgrew. We have now moved into our newest facility which is also home to our corporate office. The new 15,000 square foot- state of the art warehouse was just completed in early 2011. It allows our company to do larger deliveries and provide cross dock and distribution services while still maintaining all our previous services.

Xcel was able to grow so fast because of our tremendous staff. All managers have been associated with the company since 2005 or longer. We are proud of everyone associated with Xcel Delivery Services; they act with the utmost care when performing their jobs. Our highly trained delivery drivers can meet the most demanding requirements for your same-day deliveries and are there to provide service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

With our ongoing growth, we strive to achieve the highest level of quality service. From around the corner to around the globe Xcel Delivery Services is there working for you. Our main motivation is to fulfill our promise to our customers whether they have known us for years or just found out about our services. Xcel has worked on the principles of pride, quality and commitment from its start and will continue to deliver with these key ideals in mind.

Mark and Kelly came from a restaurant background and owned two pizzerias in Tucson before starting this wonderful business. Xcel Delivery Services was started in 2004 out of our residence and has grown to a thriving business in a brand new 15000 sq ft warehouse.

We love Tucson and are proud to do what we can to always use Tucson first when buying or doing any business here. We brought our past experience of customer service and Tucson know-how and proudly opened Xcel Delivery Services. We strive to always let our customers know that the owners are here behind every order that takes place and are always watching to insure our customers get the best possible service. We stand behind our work and promise to always be here for you. As business owners both past and present we have realized we can't always win on prices so we "Xcel" at customer service. This has always been our philosophy, that we bend over backwards for all our customers.

We were both born and raised here in Tucson and have a long family history in this wonderful city. We have been married for over 20 wonderful years and have two adult sons who make us proud every day. Our strong business ethics and our devotion to outstanding customer service have gone a long way with our past and current businesses and made us what we are today.

We enjoy playing tennis, biking and hiking. We love driving and cooking. We also love the outstanding people that work for us as we wouldn't be half of what we are today without them.

Brett hails from Tucson and has lived there most of his life. He has been with Xcel Delivery Services from the start and has worked just about every position that we have at one time or another. His many years in the field and in the office have given him a vast knowledge of how to better serve the diverse needs of our wide customer base. Brett has been married for 20+ years to his lovely wife and they have two adorable sons who give his life meaning.

Wally was born in Washington D.C but he has been in Tucson since 1975. He graduated from Catalina High School in 1979 and has worked the transportation business since 1981 as a driver, dispatcher, and manager. His expertise is in D.O.T laws and safety. He is happily married and a proud father of 5. He plays guitar as a hobby (Rock), and loves to ride his motorcycle. Wally feels that working hard and taking care of his family is the joy of life.

I was born here in Tucson and raised both here and in Ventura California. I have been in the delivery business since 1990 and began my employment with Xcel in 2004.I have worked several positions here and have knowledge in driving, warehousing and dispatching among others. I am a proud father of four teenage children.

I have worked for Xcel Delivery Services for 3 years most of which I spent as a driver. I currently work with the fleet management team where I oversee several drivers for multiple clients. I grew up in small town in southern California and moved to Tucson in 2008. I enjoy watching football, going to concerts, and being active.

Jake Heithaus is a native born and raised Tucsonan. He has previously worked as a route driver and is well versed in the customer service field. Jake takes pride in being responsible for managing the day to day inventory of the warehouse as well as receiving and shipping inventory according the client specifications. In his off hours Jake enjoys photography and is an avid gamer.
