The CLDA Annual Meeting: Public Transportation Options in Phoenix

The Customized Logistics and Delivery Association, or CLDA, is hosting is 2019 annual meeting in Phoenix on May 8-10 at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass. The luxury Sheraton hotel has many amenities right on site for you to enjoy, but when you want to get out and see what Phoenix has to offer, you may wish to rely on public transportation options.

Airport Transfer

If you are traveling into Phoenix Sky Harbor airport, the easiest way to get to the Sheraton is to take a taxi, Uber, or Lyft. The Sky Train that services downtown Phoenix does not go to the Sheraton. The ride to the hotel from the airport should cost less than $38 in a taxi. The fees for Uber and Lyft services vary.

Valley Metro Light Rail

The Valley Metro Light Rail system provides fast and affordable public transportation through Phoenix, Tempe, and Mesa. You can visit several attractions via the rail line, including the Heard Museum, Tempe’s Mill District, the Phoenix Art Museum, and Talking Stick Resort Arena. The system is air-conditioned and runs seven days per week. Trains service stops every 12 to 20 minutes and runs for between 18 and 22 hours per day, depending on the station stop.
